Privacy policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Zhi Hua Tan operates Pace.Yours, an iPhone task planner and focus timer. This policy covers the app and this support website. Version 2.0 has no advertising SDK. Version 2.1 introduces Google AdMob banner ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy choices.
Tasks and focus sessions
Task titles, notes, subtasks, deadlines, estimates, priority order, completion status, focus-session times, and reminder preferences are stored on your device. We do not send this content to Google for advertising or to a developer-operated server. There is no account sign-in or developer-operated cloud synchronization.
Your device's backup settings may include app data in Apple backups. You can delete tasks in the app. Removing the app normally removes local data; copies in backups are governed by your Apple backup settings.
Reminders and audio
If you enable reminders, the app requests notification permission and schedules notifications locally. Morning reminders can display your first three unfinished task titles on the lock screen. You can control notification previews and permissions in iPhone Settings. Morning and evening times can be changed or disabled in the app.
Background sounds play locally, including bundled rain and fireplace audio and generated ambient sounds. The app does not record your microphone.
Advertising in version 2.1
Pace.Yours requests non-personalized banner ads from Google AdMob. Ads are not selected using a profile built from your activity across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access to the advertising identifier (IDFA), and disables Google's publisher first-party ID feature. Ads are restricted to Google's general-audience content rating.
Non-personalized ads still involve data collection. Google's Mobile Ads and UMP SDKs may process IP addresses and approximate location, app- or device-level identifiers other than IDFA, advertising impressions and interactions, app interactions, crash reports, performance information, and other diagnostic data. These support ad delivery, measurement and analytics, fraud prevention, SDK operation, and privacy-choice management. Some advertising and interaction information may be associated with a device identifier; SDK diagnostic categories may be processed without a link to your identity.
We do not add a separate analytics SDK. Google's advertising SDK performs its own advertising measurement and diagnostics. Google may process data on its servers and under its own retention and international-transfer practices. See Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from partner apps, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
Your privacy choices
Where required, Google's UMP consent form appears before ads can be requested. Advertising is not started unless UMP permits ad requests. Choosing non-personalized ads does not replace any consent required for storing or accessing information on your device.
When available, open the app's About screen and choose “Ad privacy options” to review or change your choices. If that option is not shown, UMP has not indicated that the privacy-options entry point is required for your region or consent state. You can also manage notification permissions and previews in iPhone Settings.
Support messages and this website
If you contact us through Facebook, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your message and profile information visible to us. We use it to respond and investigate issues. Please do not send passwords or private task content. Facebook processes that interaction under Meta's Privacy Policy.
This website has no contact form, advertising, or site analytics added by us. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the site. Following links to Google, Facebook, or Apple takes you to services governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention, transfers, and security
Local task data remains until you remove it or the app's local storage. Support correspondence may remain in Facebook messaging history as needed to respond to requests and resolve issues. Google, Meta, Apple, and hosting providers apply their own retention, security, and international-transfer practices.
We do not operate a server collecting your tasks. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Children
Pace.Yours is a general-purpose productivity app, not an app specifically directed to children. It requests general-audience, non-personalized ads. Contact us if you believe a child has shared personal information with us so that we can address the request.
Privacy requests and contact
For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have shared with us, contact Pace.Yours support on Facebook. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. For information processed independently by Google, Meta, Apple, or hosting providers, their policies explain the available controls and request channels.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
